Warranty policies

IRRIGATION WARRANTY

1. Warranty Coverage

Wandering Soul Services (a DBA of Wandering Soul Designs LLC) (“we,” “us,” “our”) stands behind the quality of our workmanship and materials. We offer the following warranty on irrigation systems and related services:

  • Labor Warranty: All installation and repair labor is warranted for a period of 1 year from the date of completion.
  • Parts and Materials Warranty: Components such as sprinkler heads, valves, controllers, and piping are covered under the manufacturer’s warranty, which may vary from 1 to 5 years depending on the product.

If a covered issue arises within the warranty period, we will repair or replace the defective part or workmanship at no cost to the customer.


2. What’s Covered

This warranty applies to:

  • Irrigation system installations performed by Wandering Soul Services.
  • Repair or replacement of any defective materials or parts installed by Wandering Soul Services. 
  • Repairs or modifications done by our irrigation technicians.
  • Programming and setup of irrigation controllers. 


3. What’s Not Covered

This warranty does not cover:

  • Damage caused by improper use, negligence, abuse, tampering, or vandalism.
  • Issues resulting from natural disasters, freezing temperatures, flooding, lightning strikes or other electrical anomaly, or acts of God or nature.
  • Normal wear and tear, clogged nozzles, dirty filters, or misaligned heads due to mowing or foot traffic.
  • Problems caused by work performed by another contractor or individual not affiliated with Wandering Soul Services.
  • Electrical surges or failure caused by power supply issues.
  • Freeze damage resulting from winterization not performed by Wandering Soul Services.


4. Customer Responsibilities

To maintain warranty coverage, customers must:

  • Operate the system in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and our technician's instructions.
  • Prevent freeze damage by scheduling Wandering Soul Services to perform winterization.
  • Notify us promptly (within 7 days) of any suspected issues.
  • Allow our technicians access to the property to evaluate and perform warranty repairs.

NIGHT LIGHTING WARRANTY

1. Warranty Coverage
Wandering Soul Services (a DBA of Wandering Soul Designs LLC) (“we,” “us,” “our”) stands behind the quality of our craftsmanship and materials. We offer the following warranty on low-voltage outdoor lighting systems and related services:

  • Labor Warranty: All installation and repair labor is warranted for a period of 1 year from the date of completion.
  • Parts and Materials Warranty: Lighting fixtures, transformers, wiring, and other components are covered under the manufacturer’s warranty, which may range from 1 to 10 years, depending on the product.

If a covered issue arises within the applicable warranty period, we will repair or replace the defective part or workmanship at no cost to the customer.


2. What’s Covered
This warranty applies to:

  • Night lighting system installations performed by Wandering Soul Services.
  • Repairs or modifications completed by our lighting technicians.
  • Repair or replacement of any defective materials or parts installed by Wandering Soul Services.
  • Initial programming or timer/controller setup provided during installation.


3. What’s Not Covered
This warranty does not cover:

  • Damage due to misuse, vandalism, tampering, or neglect.
  • Failures caused by power surges, lightning strikes, or other electrical anomalies.
  • Issues resulting from flooding, extreme weather conditions, or other acts of God or nature.
  • Damage caused by landscaping, digging, mowing, or construction after installation.
  • Alterations or repairs made by someone not affiliated with Wandering Soul Services.
  • Normal wear and tear, bulb burnout (unless covered under manufacturer warranty), or routine maintenance.


4. Customer Responsibilities
To maintain warranty coverage, customers must:

  • Operate the system in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and our instructions.
  • Keep transformer enclosures and connections protected from flooding or tampering.
  • Notify us within 7 days of noticing a suspected issue.
  • Allow our technicians access to the system for inspection and repairs.

  • Labor Warranty: All installation and construction labor is warranted for a period of 1 year from the date of completion.
  • Materials Warranty: Products and materials (e.g., pavers, fencing, blocks, fasteners) are covered under their respective manufacturer warranties, which may vary in duration and terms depending on the product.

If a covered issue arises within the warranty period, we will repair or replace the affected area or component at no cost to the customer, provided the issue is due to our workmanship or a covered material defect.


2. What’s Covered
This warranty applies to:

  • Projects constructed by Wandering Soul Services, including but not limited to:
    • Retaining walls and landscape walls
    • Fencing
    • Paver patios, walkways, and driveways
    • Raised beds, edging, and other hardscape features
  • Repairs or modifications completed by our team
  • Structural integrity and stability of the work when used as intended


3. What’s Not Covered
This warranty does not cover:

  • Damage resulting from misuse, neglect, abuse, or vandalism
  • Ground movement, soil settling, or erosion that occurs naturally over time
  • Weather-related damage, including hurricanes, flooding, extreme freeze/thaw cycles, or other acts of God or nature.
  • Cracks or shifting caused by heavy equipment, vehicles, or excessive loads not accounted for in the design
  • Natural wear and tear, including fading, staining, or surface aging
  • Repairs or modifications made by someone not affiliated with Wandering Soul Services


4. Customer Responsibilities
To maintain warranty coverage, customers must:

  • Use and maintain the project as intended and as advised by our team
  • Avoid placing excessive weight or pressure on structures not designed for such loads
  • Notify us within 7 days of discovering any suspected issues
  • Allow our technicians reasonable access to inspect and perform any necessary warranty work
